Effective date: February 15, 2026
Mixlet is designed to be private by default. Mixlet wraps YouTube Music in a sandboxed macOS WebKit view and does not run its own analytics, ads, or tracking.
Mixlet itself does not collect personal data, does not create user accounts, and does not sell data. Google/YouTube services shown inside Mixlet may collect and process data according to their own policies, and Mixlet does not control those practices.
Mixlet stores limited local app settings (for example window position and playback UI state) using standard macOS local storage mechanisms.
When you sign in to YouTube Music, authentication and account data are handled by Google inside WebKit. Mixlet does not have access to your password.
Mixlet connects to YouTube/Google services required for playback and sign-in. Mixlet does not operate a separate telemetry backend.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
